lg-android2009-2LG entrusted in yesterday that its objective 2010 was to augment its sales of 20 % in 2010. Korean mark wants to attain 140 million sold units. They also plan to reinforce significantly the range of smartphones to attain a market share in 2 figures in 2012. Hard tournament!

For it LG is going to offer in 2010 not less than new smartphones 20 among which 50 % working on ANDROID. In spite of the contract signed with Microsoft in February, 2009, LG changes sides a bit and turns strongly to ANDROID. Other smartphones will be shared between Linux and Mobile Windows.

Without following the same axle as Motorola, LG reinforces significantly its job Android to capitalise also on this platform and dispatch a strong signal in the market as for ANDROID. It is a further proof that Gartner perhaps did not make a mistake too much on the predictions 2012.
